Are e-signatures legally binding?+
An electronic signature is legally recognised in most jurisdictions for non-notarised documents (US ESIGN Act, EU eIDAS, etc.). Sign PDF produces a flat image stamp suitable for most everyday contracts. Check local requirements for specific cases.
Do you upload my PDFs anywhere?+
No. Everything — scanning, signing, storing — happens on your device. We literally don't have a server for your documents.
What happens if I cancel Pro?+
You keep all signatures you already saved. New ones (beyond the free 1-signature limit) are locked until you re-subscribe.
Does it work on iPad?+
Yes. Sign PDF is a universal app optimised for iPhone and iPad. Apple Pencil support included.
Can I edit existing text in a PDF?+
You can add freeform text on top (Text tool). Native in-place text editing would require a commercial PDF engine and isn't available yet.
